LIMITED EDITION PRINTS
These are digital prints (sometimes called giclee prints) taken from original artworks and reproduced in high quality print runs of 60. They are signed, numbered and can be bought mounted through the 'Shop' section of this website. Please contact us if you would like your print to be framed.
These prints come in a range of sizes, They work well framed as sets and hung in collections. Please see below for dimensions and prices.
Each canvas is constructed from a one-off digital print that is repeatedly overworked with thin washes of acrylic paint, charcoal and pastels. I revisit the painting time and time again over several months until the composition and surface qualities feel resolved. The canvas is framed in dark grey painted or black stained wood. Only a small number of these pieces exist, they are mainly made to commission and can be made to a bespoke size. Please contact me for more information.
STATEMENT CANVASES
OIL ON PAPER
These original monotypes are painted in oil-based inks onto a plastic plate. An image is built up in rollered sections, brush strokes and splatters of ink. Tools and soft cloths are then used to scrape through or soften these soft films of ink, revealing previous levels of mark making. The completed plate and damp paper are passed together through the press, transferring the image once only. Small touches of pastel and pencil are added to complete the piece.
